How to connect, step by step
- In your phone's or laptop's Wi-Fi settings, pick Airport Free Wifi Aena.
- The welcome portal opens. Choose how to sign in: with your email address as a guest, with your Aena Club account, or by registering with Aena Club there and then.
- Type your email address. Your 15 minutes of free internet start now.
- Aena sends a message to that address: open it and confirm your account and connection.
- With the account verified, carry on browsing for as long as you are at the airport.
Use an address whose inbox you can open on the device you are connecting.
Signing in with Aena Club
Aena Club is Aena's free membership programme. You can sign in with it, or register on the portal, instead of using guest access; either way the Wi-Fi is free and the email still needs confirming. The account pays off elsewhere: depending on the plan, members may get discounts on Aena's car parks, VIP lounges and Fast Track bought online, and a saved login makes reconnecting quicker.
Time limit, speed and reconnecting
Once your email is confirmed, the connection has no time limit, so a long layover or a delayed flight is covered. Speed is not guaranteed and there is no set data allowance, so download films, maps or large files at home if you need them on board.
Your access is tied to the email address or Aena Club login you verified. To reconnect later in your stay, sign in again with the same details.
Wi-Fi in T1 and in T2A, T2B and T2C
Airport Free Wifi Aena is a single network for the whole airport, with the same name in Terminal 1 and in the three sections of Terminal 2. If you change terminal, join the same network and sign in with the details you already verified.
If the Wi-Fi does not work
Aena's Wi-Fi help line is +34 900 928 053, and its Wi-Fi web page has a link to write to the support team. Put the number in your phone before you travel: if the portal will not load, you cannot look it up online. For anything other than the Wi-Fi, call Aena's information line on +34 913 211 000 or ask at an information desk in either terminal.
Where to charge your phone and laptop
In T1, the two comfort areas in front of the B boarding gates on Floor 1 have seating and plenty of charging points. In T2, three pedal-powered bicycles on Floor 1 charge your battery while you pedal. Both spots are after security. The VIP lounges have power sockets too, and Aena Maps in the Aena app shows other charging points near you.
A desk, a quiet room or a private call
For a desk or a private room, the options are Air Rooms and the VIP lounges, both paid. Air Rooms by Sleep & Fly on T1 Floor 1, open 24 hours, has a Business Center and a Business Corner with phone and photocopying, and rooms with Wi-Fi for day use of 3 or 6 hours. The four Aena VIP lounges have Wi-Fi, work areas and power sockets, most of them a meeting room and Joan Miró and Canudas a silent room; walk-in entry starts at €48 per adult, and VIP lounges shows which one your gate allows.
SIM cards, phone shops and privacy
For a local SIM card or a phone plan, the telecom shop at the airport is Vodafone, with one shop in T1 and one in T2; ask there about SIM and eSIM options. La Casa de las Carcasas in T1 sells phone cases and accessories. Locations and hours are on shops.
Connecting takes an email address, or your Aena Club login, which you then verify. Aena's privacy policy covers that data.
Charging, work space and phone shops by terminal

Travel tips
- Have your mail app open before you connect, so confirming takes one tap.
- Download your boarding pass to your phone before you leave home, so you do not depend on the connection at the gate.
- Charge your phone and power bank fully before you leave home.
- Turn off automatic joining of open networks on your phone, so it cannot connect to a look-alike by itself.
- Pause cloud backups and app updates while you are on the airport network if you need it for a call.
- Bring your own charging cable and a plug adapter if your devices use a non-European plug.
