About this independent guide to Barcelona-El Prat Airport
barcelonaairports.es is a free, independent guide for anyone flying into or out of Josep Tarradellas Barcelona-El Prat Airport (BCN). In English and Spanish it explains how T1 and T2 work, how to reach the city from each of them and which organisation to contact when something goes wrong. Domino Services Ltd., a small UK publisher of travel and reference websites, runs it.
Domino Services Ltd., a company based in the United Kingdom, publishes barcelonaairports.es as an independent passenger guide; Aena, which runs Barcelona-El Prat, and the airlines play no part in it. Guide pages are built from official sources and carry the date they were checked, while flight pages come from automated third-party data. Advertising and affiliate links pay for the site.

What the guide covers
Barcelona-El Prat has two terminals about 4 km apart by road: T1, opened in 2009, which handles most flights, and T2, a single terminal in three sections, T2A, T2B and T2C. No walkway links them, only a free shuttle bus that runs 24 hours, so every page tells you whether a detail applies to T1, to T2 or to both.
The pages follow the order of a trip: reaching the airport by Aerobús, Metro L9 Sud, Rodalies train, city bus, taxi or car; parking and car hire; check-in, security and passport control; food, shops, lounges and Wi-Fi; arrivals, baggage reclaim and customs; and help for passengers who need assistance. Flight pages add arrivals, departures, routes and the airlines that serve Barcelona-El Prat.
Who publishes it
Domino Services Ltd. owns and publishes barcelonaairports.es. It is registered in England and Wales under company number 13108907, has its registered office in Brighton & Hove, United Kingdom, and runs several independent travel and reference websites. The legal notice gives the full company details.
How pages are researched and kept current
Each topic is researched from primary sources: Aena's pages for Barcelona-El Prat, the official gazettes and regulations, the metropolitan authority AMB for taxi fares, and the operators of the Aerobús, the Metro, Rodalies trains and the city buses. When two sources give different figures, the page leaves the point out or states plainly that it is not officially confirmed.
- Prices, opening hours, timetables and fares appear only with the date they were checked and a link to the official source.
- Every page records when it was last verified and when it is next due for review.
- The English and Spanish pages are written separately for their own readers and give the same facts.
Where flight information comes from
Arrivals, departures and route pages are built automatically from schedule data supplied by a third party, AirLabs. They help with planning but are not an official source, and a delay, gate change or cancellation can show up late or not at all. On the day you travel, your airline and the screens at your terminal have the final word.
Independence and funding
Reading the guide costs nothing. Advertising (Google AdSense, when switched on) and commissions from some affiliate links to travel services such as flight search, parking, transfers or car hire pay for it. A commission never raises the price you pay.
Advertisers and affiliate partners neither write nor approve guide content, and linking to a service does not rank it above the official options. When an official, cheaper or simpler choice exists, such as the Metro, the Aerobús or Aena's own car parks, the page says so.
What we cannot do for you
We are neither the airport nor an airline, so we cannot check you in, change or refund a ticket, trace a bag, book assistance, recover lost property or give an official ruling on the rules. The contact page tells you which organisation handles each of these, with the numbers Aena and the operators publish. For an emergency anywhere in Spain, call 112.
Corrections and feedback
If something is wrong or out of date, email contact (at) barcelonaairports (dot) es with the page address, what you found and, ideally, an official source showing the right information. Reports are checked against official sources before a page changes. Every message is read, but we cannot answer questions about a particular flight or booking.
